Bike Shop Hours Expansion
Starting March 3!


Tues / Wed / Thurs / Saturday 10 am - 6 pm
 

We will be DOUBLING our workshop hours next month!
More bikes repaired, youth apprentices employed, & community members served

...AND Launching a Sixth Repair Site!


Easley Doodle Park

Sweet Tea Cycles has opened a rail car bike shop just off the Doodle Trail, and Drake, our Village Wrench bike shop manager, will be offering free bike repair the first Saturday of the month as a site lead.

First Friday in the Village of West Greenville


Friday, Feb 7, 6-9 PM

Stop by Textile Hall for a night full of pop-ups with local artists selling hand crafted bath/beauty products, stationary, and jewelry. Village Wrench will be sharing what we do, and the bike shop will be open too!
Good & Salty (@GoodSaltyPaper) will be selling this Village Stationary!

Volunteer Spotlight

Luke Woodard

- Sans Souci / Village Church Site Lead
- Bike mechanic extraordinaire
- Using his engineering background to design a new bike parts kitchen for us (praise!)
- Thinks all things bikes are rad (because they are).
- Except cycling road crashes and concussions (because they are NOT), which he endured a couple weeks ago.
- And STILL came out last Saturday to lead! Thanks for all you do with and for Village Wrench, Luke!

Favorite January Photo
Nasiah and Elijah with their earned bicycles! These brothers worked hard - they came to the West Greenville repair day three months in a row, learning some bike repair; helped in their church garden; and did yard work for an elderly neighbor. They each completed EIGHTEEN hours of service, and we are incredibly proud of them!
