Free Bike Repair + Community Remembrance Ride this Saturday!

Repair runs November 7 from 10-12
Check the website for a neighborhood location near you!
Our sister organization Village Engage is facilitating the Community Remembrance Project in Greenville, which memorializes documented victims of racial violence and fosters meaningful dialogue about race and justice.

Following the private soil collection ceremony of George Green in Taylors, Village Wrench is hosting a slow-roll ~3 mile bike ride at noon to honor Mr. Green. Email Jessica for the details on how to participate.

Offering Basic Repair Clinics for those who volunteer at our neighborhood sites or in the workshop

Wednesday, 11/11 & Thursday, 11/19 from 6:30-8:30p

Ever been helping at a Free Bike Repair and thought to yourself, "Shoot! How do I make this brake work?" or "I don't know what I need to do to adjust the shifting!" Volunteers are invited to review and practice basic bike repair skills, led by our Workshop Manager, Kat.

6-Cycle Students are on a Roll!

Teens develop character, bicycle repair, and ridership skills in revamped program

We are over halfway through our fall 6-Cycle class! In our updated curriculum, each week students reinforce new skills like cleaning our bikes, identifying parts, and fixing flats with lots of practice. After enjoying a meal together, we learn bike repair and then reflect on character strengths like growth mindset and grit before diving into ridership: starting and stopping, lookbacks, and signals.

Thank you for making impactful youth and workforce development possible at Village Wrench!
